‘Art Ruebens has known since childhood that it is paint that flows thru his veins. Art attended the Columbia University in New York with a Fine Arts major. After college he began work as a freelance illustrator with such clients as Coca Cola, Sax Fifth Avenue, and a dozen other well known corporations. He later taught at the Art Students League. Ruebens’ portraits create mood and mystery on canvas at times painted so realistic you feel as though the subjects will reach out and touch you’.
